Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a session, purchasing a service, or using any part of the Configured AI website (configuredai.net), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Configured AI is operated as an independent service provider. Questions can be directed to configuredai@gmail.com.

2. Services Offered

Configured AI provides:

• AI Configuration Setup — A live, done-for-you session to configure your AI system (e.g., Claude) with custom instructions, context files, tool integrations, and automation workflows.
• Configuration + Custom Automations — The above, plus additional bespoke automation workflows built for your specific operational needs.
• Ongoing retainer support — Monthly iteration and build services, offered where applicable.

All services are delivered remotely via video call and asynchronous delivery of configuration files.

3. Booking and Payment

• Sessions are booked via Cal.com at cal.com/configured-ai/15min.
• Discovery calls (15 minutes) are provided free of charge with no obligation.
• Paid service fees are communicated and agreed upon before any configuration session begins. Payment is due prior to the session unless otherwise arranged.
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel or reschedule a booked session up to 24 hours in advance without penalty via the Cal.com booking link in your confirmation email.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may forfeit the session fee.
• If Configured AI cancels a session, you will receive a full refund or reschedule at no cost.
• Refund requests for delivered services are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact configuredai@gmail.com within 7 days of service delivery.

5. Your Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your role, goals, and existing tools during the configuration session.
• Ensure you have the necessary permissions and account access to implement the integrations we build together (e.g., Gmail, Slack, Calendar).
• Use the configured AI system in compliance with the terms of service of the underlying AI platform (e.g., Anthropic's usage policies for Claude).
• Not use our configurations or automations for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own the configuration files, instructions, and automation workflows we build specifically for you. Configured AI retains the right to use general methodologies, frameworks, and approaches — but not your specific business content — in future work.

All website content, branding, and methodology documentation at configuredai.net remains the intellectual property of Configured AI. You may not reproduce, resell, or redistribute our methodology or training materials without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Configured AI provides services "as is." We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, revenue results, or AI performance improvements, as these depend on many factors outside our control including the underlying AI platform, your workflows, and how you use the configured system.

AI platforms (including Claude by Anthropic) are subject to their own terms, updates, and limitations. Configured AI is not affiliated with Anthropic or any AI platform provider.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Configured AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or AI configurations. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Confidentiality

We treat all business information shared during configuration sessions as confidential. We do not share your specific business content, processes, or strategies with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
